NSW, VIC, QLD & SA suburb crime statistics

Recorded criminal incidents for every suburb in NSW, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia, straight from the official state sources — BOCSAR, the Crime Statistics Agency, the Queensland Police Service and SAPOL, the same data journalists and researchers use. Yearly totals, recent trends and the property offences buyers ask about: break-ins, car theft and criminal damage. Free and updated quarterly.

How to read these numbers. Counts are raw incident numbers for the whole suburb — not per-capita rates — so bigger suburbs naturally record more. Small suburbs fluctuate a lot year to year, and the states count differently (NSW & QLD: calendar years; VIC: years ending 31 March; QLD history is a rolling ~5-year window). We show each suburb's own trend and deliberately publish no "safest / most dangerous" rankings: use the data as context, not a verdict.
